Now anyone can be a guitar hero. Thanks to gTar—a Kickstarter funded project (Source)—a mere $449 gets you an iPhone-powered guitar. Like a more interactive version of the Rockstar video game, the phone talks to the guitar, lighting up the strings you’re meant to play, and silencing the ones that you’re not. The result? No wrong notes, less of a learning curve, and more of a chance to jam.
