On July 17, Motley Crue will release their new single “Sex.” The band describes the new tune as a return to form. Bassist and songwriter Nikki Sixx told VH1 Radio that the return to their roots was intentional. “That was definitely on purpose,” he says. “I’ve been writing very simple riffs for the last year and focusing on how these riffs would work for Vince (Neil), basically, and took it in the studio with Tommy and Mick and the thing just came alive.”
