Despite a rift caused by contract negotiations (that some believe may be little more than a glorified publicity stunt (http://www.rocksquare.com/Community/MusicNews/724) Ozzy Osbourne says that he would welcome Bill Ward back into Black Sabbath.

Having already written fifteen new songs for a forthcoming album, Black Sabbath intends to continue with our without Ward at their side. Although, according to Osbourne, the relationship isn’t completely severed. “The door ain’t closed,” he says. “Whether we work something out up the road, I don’t know.”

For now, the band has one more date on their current tour, Lollapalooza on Aug. 3 in Chicago. For that show Tommy Clufetos will fill in on drums.
