Hot on the heels of their 50th anniversary together, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has confirmed that the band is currently rehearsing for a tour.

While no dates are current planned, Richards assures that their trek is a done deal. “But when? I can’t say yet,” he said to BBC. “We’re playing around with the idea and had a couple of rehearsals — we’ve got together and it feels so good.”

While a rumored new album has yet to surface, the band says that they’re happy to carry on…as long as the public will have them. “No matter what happens in the future, nobody is uttering the ‘R’ word, as in retirement,” says Richards. “It seems the group wants to play as long as possible. “Sometimes its hard work and you wonder why you’re doing it, but apart from those few moments it’s been an incredible adventure.”
