Following in the footsteps of Iggy Pop—who recently dropped his second album of French covers, Alice Cooper has entered the studio to work on a new album of old tunes. As reported by Braveworlds, Cooper is crafting “a brand new album of cover songs that will be supported by a fresh show for the fall.”

No other details were forthcoming, but given Cooper’s distinctive style it’s fun to imagine what the theatrical rocker may come up with. For those who want a more concrete idea of what (may) be in store, check out Cooper’s cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” below.
