Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson (born Paul Bruce Dickinson) turns 54 today. The singer, songwriter, pilot, author, and marketing director has done it all and has every reason to celebrate today. A pioneer for power metal, best known for his operatic tenor vocal style Dickinson truly is a jack of all trades.

As Iron Maiden’s frontman, his successful solo career, and his role as lead vocals for hard rock band Samson -- Dickinson has irrefutably left his mark on Heavy Metal. Cheers and Happy Birthday to you Bruce-Bruce – as the ‘Samsonites’ would say!
