Rod the Mod turns 68 today and even though another year has passed this blonde will be forever young in our minds (pun fully intended). The British singer/songwriter established himself as glitterati and sex symbol during the 1960s and 70s. His good looks, characteristically gruff voice, and catchy lyrics caught the eyes and ears of men and women alike.

Stewart has sold nearly 200 million records and landed himself on numerous top lists across the globe. His success as a solo act as well as a band member in: Faces, The Jeff Beck Group, and Shotgun Express speak to his raw talent and charisma that makes him one of the greatest singers of all time -- Rolling Stone puts him at #59 to be exact.

Stewart has made a lasting impression on the rock ‘n’ roll industry and continues to captivate audiences today.
