This past summer brought some very exciting news: The Monkees were finally getting the elusive Michael Nesmith back into the fold for a twelve-date U.S. tour, the band’s first outing with Nesmith since 1997.

Well, the tour is actually finally happening, and Rock Square is happy to announce that we will be in attendance at The Monkees concert at the Los Angeles Greek Theatre, tomorrow night! That’s in 1 day. And yes, we are just about jittery with anticipation.

Of course, the passing of Davy Jones leaves a huge hole in the line-up, but as we reported in August, The Monkees aim to compensate with a “stellar crew of players” as well as a multimedia show featuring rare films and photographs.

We’re not going to simply sit back, relax and take in the show, however. Sure, we’ll bop along with The Monkees when they take the stage--it will be impossible not to--but we will also be manning our Rock Square booth, where we’ll be handing out swag bags and guitar picks.
